NEWS: Rampasikat adds flair to CAPSU-Mambusao Acquaintance Party with creativity, fashion, and department pride

From divine gods and goddesses to Y2K streetwear and Wild West flair, creativity and CAPSU pride took the spotlight as Capiz State University-Mambusao Satellite College staged its annual Acquaintance Party featuring Rampasikat, a department fashion show and theme presentation, on September 16 at the campus gymnasium.
More than a fashion showcase, Rampasikat turned the Acquaintance Party into a vibrant display of creativity and department pride, as students brought their assigned themes to life through outfits, styling, and performances.
The Bachelor of Arts in English Language (BAEL) captivated the audience with their divine Gods and Goddesses ensemble, while the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) brought back the 2000s with bold Y2K street-style fashion.
Not to be outdone, the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology (BSFT) shone in festive Coachella-inspired outfits, the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) transported the crowd to the Wild West, and the Supreme Student Council (SSC) dazzled in glamorous Glam and Glitz attire.
The energy continued to rise as each department took the stage for the hip-hop dance competition, delivering powerful performances that drew loud cheers and applause from students and faculty alike.
In the afternoon, the winners of Rampasikat, the hip-hop dance competition, and the highly anticipated search for WAMA were formally announced, marking the climax of the celebration.
Despite an afternoon downpour that caused minor flooding inside the gymnasium, the event concluded safely and remained filled with joy and enthusiasm.
More than just a showcase of talent and style, this year's Acquaintance Party stood as a celebration of unity — a memorable start that forged new friendships and strengthened the spirit of the CAPSU-Mambusao community for the academic year ahead.
