Capiz State University conducted its Inter-Campus Meet on September 28- October 1, 2011 at CapSU Roxas City Main Campus. This annual activity was participated in by the ten campuses of the University, including the Poblacion Mambusao Campus.
This year, the campus sent a delegation composed of more or less 80 athletes who competed in volleyball (M/W), basketball (W), sepak takraw, badminton (M/W), table tennis (M/W), chess (M/W), and running, throwing and jumping events. In addition to this, the campus had also participants for the academic, literary and musical contests, and for the Search for Mr. and Miss CapSU 2011.
The event started with a parade passing along some major streets in Roxas City. The opening program was held at Dadivas Gym, CapSU Roxas City. The different sports events started on the second day, September 29. Academic and literary contests were also conducted on the same day. In the afternoon was the Search for Mr. and Miss CapSU 2011 where Mark Rolino B. Marcelino and Diana Ross O. Cejas represented the Campus. The sports and athletic events were conducted at CapSU Roxas City Main Campus and Villareal Stadium, Roxas City. The rest of the contests were done within CapSU Roxas City campus. The musical contest was conducted on September 30 at Dadivas Gym.
Even with just a small delegation, CapSU Poblacion reaped some medals in the different events where the athletes and cultural participants competed. The four-day Inter-Campus Meet was a rewarding experience for the CapSU Poblacion students especially for those who competed the first time.
