Stephen Escartin was adjudged 1st Runner-up in the Search for Mr. Inilusan 2012 during the pageant night held at Angeles Lema Villareal Center on November 22.
The Search for Mr. and Miss Inilusan 2012 showcased seven good-looking and seven beautiful teens in the Municipality of Mambusao. Stephen was among the seven male candidates who joined in the pageant, each representing their sponsoring agencies. He was sponsored by the Local Government Unit- Legislative.
Standing at 5’8”, Stephen was the tallest male candidate and this he considered as his advantage over his competitors. Truly, he stood out during the pageant and was one of the judges’ favorites.
In the end, he finished 1st Runner-up and also won special and minor awards which included Mr. Popularity, People’s Choice Award, and Best in Interview. Other winners were Anthony Louise Linaogo, Mr. Inilusan 2012; and Jose Martin Frac, 2nd Runner-up.
Stephen is the 19-year old son of Mr. Tom Escartin and Mrs. Tess Escartin of Poblacion Tabuc, Mambusao, Capiz. He is presently a third year AB Political Science student at CapSU Poblacion.
The Search for Mr. Iniulusan was the second pageant by Stephen. During his freshman year at CapSU Poblacion, he joined in the Search for Mr. CapSU Poblacion 2010 where he also placed 1st Runner-up.
