Zandra May Legpitan (sitting) signs her oath of office as (from left) Regent Rodnie
Cataluña, SSC Federation president; Dr. Lillibeth G. Leonor,  satellite college director;
Dr. Lucille L. Marquez, GAD director; Dr. Julie V. Dalida, dean; and Prof.
Lalaine E. Ricardo, OSA chair, look on.
Zandra May Legpitan and Joshua Baal took their oath of office as SSC president and vice-president, respectively, for SY 2016-2017 during the induction program, July 15.
Dr. Lillibeth G. Leonor, satellite college director, instituted the oath taking for the two highest positions in the SSC.
Legpitan and Baal were not actually elected to their current posts.
February this year, the outgoing SSC officers facilitated the conduct of elections for the SSC president, vice-president, senators, and representatives.
After the elections, Legpitan was declared winner in the vice-presidential contest while Baal was the topnotcher in the senatorial race. Incoming senior student Jhona Tayco, on the other hand, was proclaimed SSC president.
Before the opening of the school year, Tayco decided to transfer to another school in Manila. In effect, elected SSC officers moved upward.
Legpitan and Baal’s assumption to office was like an uncontested slam dunk.
In her inaugural address, Legpitan assured the Campus of her sincere service by leading the students in all the activities and programs.
As a leader, she was vocal about her strict policy in terms of time, discipline and attendance in every program.
Before she ended, she once again thanked everyone especially the officers for giving their all-out support and left words of inspiration.
“The only way to have a great work is to love what you do,” Legpitan said.
Officers of other organizations like homeroom, department, fraternities/sororities, and others were also inducted.
