118 Confirmed Graduates; 2 Conferred with Honors

One hundred eighteen graduates including two cum laude participated in the 14th Commencement Exercises of CapSU Mambusao Satellite College, March 26.
The graduates satisfactorily completed the requirements in their respective programs. Out of the total number of graduates, 65 finished BS Computer Science (BSCS); 25, BS Office Administration (BSOA); 15, BS Food Technology and Entrepreneurship (BSFTE); and 13 completed their Bachelor of Arts, major in English (AB English) degree.
Dr. Editha C. Alfon, University President, conferred their undergraduate degrees.
Among the graduates, two finished with honors. April Joy A. Esteves from the BSFTE and Rona Mae L. Lapso from the BSCS graduated at the top of their batch.
They received the University Academic Excellence Award, Sen. Manny Villar Excellence Award, Deputy Speaker Fredenil H. Castro Award of Excellence, ESGP-PA Excellence Award for Esteves, and PSITE Excellence Award for Lapso.
Deputy Speaker and Representative of the Second District of Capiz Hon. Fredenil H. Castro graced the affair as this year’s commencement speaker.
Being the graduate with the highest GPA, Ms. Esteves was given the privilege of delivering words of gratitude on behalf of the graduates.
Dr. Stephanie S. Pimentel, president of the alumni association, initiated the induction of the new graduates to the CapSU Mambusao Satellite College Alumni Association.
The president of the Senior Class Organization, Mr. Jayven L. Fuego, led his fellow graduates in their oath of loyalty to Capiz State University.
