CAPSU Mambusao gives food to border frontliners, brgy. tanod amid Covid-19 pandemic

Distribution of food items to frontliners in Brgy. Tugas border.

In response to the on-going crisis brought by Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19), CapSU Mambusao faculty and staff raised some amount to buy food items for border frontliners and barangay tanod of selected barangays in the municipality, March 31.
Through group chat in the messenger, Dr. Caster A. Kapunan presented his proposal of responding to the needs of the people who are at the frontline to protect the town and its people from the deadly virus. The personnel expressed their support to the proposal.
Each one pledged to give certain amount which was collected by Dr. Kapunan. The group was able to raised Php15,450.00.
Dr. Kapunan and Prof. Freden S. Delgado took charge of buying, repacking and distributing the food items to identified locations on March 31.
With the amount collected, they bought cup noodles, coffee, biscuits, cupcakes, juice and nuts. The quantity was good for 100 persons for two days.
Among the beneficiaries of said assistance were border frontliners in the three barangays- Tugas, Bunga ang Bula.
Barangay tanod in Poblacion Tabuc, Atiplo, Cala-agus and Maralag also benefited from this initiative of the school.
The persoonel also agreed to have a second wave of this kind of assistance to be distributed to other barangays.
