This year’s celebration focused on showcasing students' talents and skills in the midst of global health crisis. Representatives from the four departments competed in TikTok Dance, COVID-19 Film Making, TikTok Singing, Couple’s Attire and What's Best in your Department.
Computer Science Department won in the TikTok Dance competition, followed by Bachelor of Arts and Office Administration Departments in 2nd and 3rd Places, respectively.
In COVID-19 Film Making, Office Administration Department took 1st Place with Bachelor of Arts Department in 2nd Place and Computer Science Department in 3rd Place.
Computer Science Department also won in TikTok Singing. Bachelor of Arts and Office Administration Departments took 2nd and 3rd Places, respectively.
For Couple's Attire, Computer Science Department still took the top spot followed in descending order by Office Administration and Bachelor of Arts Departments.
Students also showcased what’s best in their department and Computer Science Department was once again the runaway winner.
“I know that this online program is not as realistic as what you had done in the previous years where you can freely shout, laugh, sing, dance and show genuine happiness and emotions, but somehow this gave the feeling of belongingness, that you are part of CAPSU Mambusao Satellite College. I hope that the next Students’ Day celebration would be in our gymnasium,” OSA Chairperson Prof. Lalaine E. Ricardo uttered in her closing remarks.
The full support and guidance of SSC Adviser Prof. Olga L. Llanera, the leadership of SSC President Clifford John Sunio and the cooperation of the students contributed to the success of this year’s virtual celebration of Students’ Day.
