Faculty and students of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration headed by Prof. Frocy M. Navarrosa, program coordinator, celebrated their 7th Office Administration Day, June 2.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the celebration was held via Google Meet with the theme “Pag-aalaga ng mga Talento at Kasanayan at Karagdagang Kaalaman sa Kabila ng Pandemya.”
In his inspirational message, Dr. Adelfo Z. Virtudazo, satellite college director, shared his thoughts how the pandemic has affected the conduct of student activities. He commended the department for its effort to pursue the conduct of the OA Day despite the limitations brought about by the pandemic.
The celebration was highlighted by a webinar on “Stress Management” with Dr. Elmer M. Albaladejo, University NSTP director, as resource speaker.
In the afternoon, an online raffle was conducted where twelve (12) students won Php30 worth of cellphone load and there were two (2) lucky winners of Php100 pesos also worth cellphone load.
Through the generosity of Ms. Maria Me Bernabe and Mr. Christian Alba, both BSOA alumni, who were invited to the celebration, three (3) more students won Php30 worth of cellphone load and five (5) were lucky to win Php500 either worth of Gcash or cellphone load.
When asked to give a message, Mr. Alba said, “Pagtuon guid kamo sang maayo kay amo gid na ang mapabugal n’yo kag mabalik sa [mga] ginikanan ninyo.” He also expressed his gratitude for having been invited to the occasion.
Part of the OA Day was the conduct of certain skills contests and the results were announced after the raffle draw.
