NEWS: CAPSU submits curricular programs to AACCUP online survey visit

A total of 12 programs of Capiz State University underwent online accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc, Oct. 21-23.
The team of accreditors conducted third and fourth survey visits, evaluating various academic programs offered at Burias Campus, Pontevedra Campus, Mambusao, Sigma and Tapaz Satellite Colleges.
Pontevedra Campus submitted five programs namely, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, Bachelor of Sicence in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, and Bachelor of Elementary Education.
Burias Campus submitted Master in Public Administration program; Tapaz Satellite College, Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture; Sigma Satellite College, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management.
Mambusao Satellite College submitted three namely, Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, Bachelor of Arts in English Language, and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration.
Eleven programs all underwent fourth survey visit, phase two while Bachelor of Science in Office Administration underwent third survey visit, phase two.
Dr. Efren L. Linan, SUC President III, delivered the welcome remarks, expressing the university's enthusiasm for hosting the distinguished accreditors.
The event proceeded with an introduction of coordinators by Prof. Vincent B. Bunda, who facilitated the proceedings and ensured a smooth flow of information throughout the visit. Dr. Jaime M. Forbes, coordinator from Bataan Peninsula State University, delivered the statement of purpose.
Dr. Forbes also introduced the accreditors assigned to evaluate the programs at Pontevedra Campus and Sigma Satellite College.
Dr. Reynaldo T. Gelido, coordinator from Pangasinan State University, introduced the accreditors responsible for assessing the programs at Mambusao Satellite College, Tapaz Satellite College, and Burias Campus.
The following accreditation teams were assigned to specific programs at Mambusao Satellite College.
Dr. Adrian B. Aguilar and Dr. Ian Roger M. Francisco evaluated the Bachelor of Arts in English Language.
Dr. Queenie Ann L. Curayag and Prof. Josephine A. Red were in charge of the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology.
The Bachelor of Science in Office Administration was handled by Dr. Trinidad G. Pasong and Dr. Rosemarie R. San Luis.
The evaluation of documents and interview ran for three days, and a closing program was held on Oct. 23 to formally end the accreditation process.
