Enrollment hits 1k mark

Enrollment during the First Semester, Academic Year 2022-2023 .

For the first time, enrollment in CAPSU Mambusao has reached 1,047 which is also an “all-time high” surpassing last year’s 945.
Enrollment this first semester of Academic Year 2022-2023 has increased by 10.79 percent based on the enrollment in the same period last year according to the registrar.
Since the opening of this small campus in 1999, never had its enrollment reached 1,000 even if it was offering secondary education in its early years until it was abolished.
From the number, the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science maintains its status for having the largest population registering 455 enrolled students while the Bachelor of Arts in English Language still remains at the bottom with 85.
Freshmen also dominated the pack recording 404, followed by, in descending order, the sophomores, seniors and juniors.
As to first year enrollment, an increase was noted in the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology. These are the flagship programs of the campus as determined by the Commission of Higher Education.
Freshmen enrollment of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration declined as it had to limit its admission to give priority to the chief programs.
Nearing the last day of enrollment, admission of BA in English Language slightly went up due to the closing of the other three programs.
