Capiz State University officially opened the Second semester of Academic Year 2022-2023 today, February 6, 2023.
Students flocked in all campuses and satellite colleges of the University with the implementation of face-to-face learning in all subjects across all curricular programs.
Last semester, Capiz State University-Mambusao Satellite College implemented the face-to-face learning only in selected subjects, particularly those with laboratory.
With the implementation of face-to-face learning, the administration reminds the students to still follow the minimum health protocols particularly wearing of facemask inside the classroom.
Based on the data from the Registrar’s Office, there are 946 students officially enrolled as of today with BS Computer Science recording 405 enrollees, followed by BS Office Administration with 283, BS Food Technology with 183 and the Bachelor of Arts in English Language with 75 enrollees. This number is still expected to increase because enrollment is still going on.
Students are excited because after more than two years they will now be back to face-to-face classes.
However, others feel anxious that their learnings from the two years of long distance learning are not enough to deal with the lessons they are about to study this semester.
As students of CAPSU Mambusao return to face-to-face classes this semester after more than two years of distance learning, the school is filled with noise again from students chatting along the hallways, circle of friends dining in the school canteen, and group of students talking and laughing in the gymnasium. Classrooms are now filled with students attentively listening to their instructors.
