Today is supposed to be the last day of enrollment for incoming freshmen. So far, the turnout of enrollment is good but the number is still far from the 400 plus applicants who passed the admission test and interview.
One reason why some could not right away enroll is their medical requirements particularly the drug test result. However, it was clarified yesterday by the school nurse that it can be submitted later. For now, they need to submit only other medical test results and medical certificate.
Because of the low turnout of enrollment, the administration has decided to extend the enrollment deadline until next week.
This compassionate gesture aims to accommodate those facing difficulties in meeting the initial cutoff.
“I'm ready!”
In an interview, I had the pleasure of speaking with Krish Trina Victoriano, an enthusiastic and hopeful incoming freshman who is pursuing Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Hailing from Pob. Takas, Cuartero Capiz, she decided to enroll in this institution due to its proximity and the availability of her dream course.
As she spoke with unwavering enthusiasm, Krish shared the inspiration behind her choice of BSCS as her undergraduate degree.
She explained, "I decided on BSCS because I previously studied ICT in Senior High School, and I wanted to continue my journey in the world of computers."
As a lifelong dreamer, Krish aspires to become a skilled programmer and secure a job in a professional office setting. Her determination to succeed in the field is evident in her dedication to pursuing her dreams.
Reflecting on the school, Krish expressed her appreciation for the safe and accommodating environment it provides.
“I find this school a safe environment, tapos accommodating ang mga teachers, kay every office nga ginakadtuan ko, ang mga people very approachable kag mabuot,” she added.
She praised the approachable and kind-hearted teachers and the well-equipped facilities that facilitate a conducive learning atmosphere.
As the enrollment period draws to a close, Krish's experience exemplifies the hopes and dreams of many incoming freshmen, eager to embark on their educational journey in pursuit of their aspirations.
With a promising future ahead, she is among the countless students ready to make their mark in CAPSU Mambusao through knowledge and perseverance.
