ABTech Thunders receive their championship trophy.

ABTech Thunders added another championship trophy to their collection after being proclaimed the overall winners of the Intramural Meet 2023 which happened on Nov. 8–9.
The Thunders secured the overall championship title after finishing at the top both in the culture and the arts festival and sports competition, raking 113 and 178 points, respectively.
ABTech Thunders, a group of talented individuals coming from the Bachelor of Arts in English Language (BAEL) and Bachelor of Science in Food Technology BSFT), came together with a common goal: to showcase their skills and make their mark in the intramural meet.
They began their journey by putting in countless hours of practice, honing their abilities in various sports, literary, visual arts, musical, and dance events. From intense training sessions to strategizing game plans, the Thunders left no stone unturned to prepare themselves for the competition.
Throughout the meet, the Thunders faced tough opponents. Their exceptional performances in different sports and in culture and the arts left spectators in awe.
And finally, after two days of intense competition, the Thunders emerged as the overall champions. Their hard work, determination, and unwavering belief in themselves paid off.
They proved that with passion, dedication, and teamwork, it is possible to defend their crown as the champions of the school’s intramural meet.
Meanwhile, Tech Titans composed of first, second, and fourth year students of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science took the first runners-up spot accumulating 267 points from combined scores of 108 and 159 in culture and the arts, and sports.
From last year’s first runner-up finish, the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science 3, known as TechsOA Spartans, dropped to third place with 242 (78 and 164).
The alliance of BAEL and BSFT has been a strong wall for so many years that other teams have yet to demolish.
