CAPSU Mambusao inks partnership with MENHS

Capiz State University-Mambusao Satellite College and Mambusao East National High School (MENHS) entered into a memorandum of agreement for work immersion partnership, February 13.
Dr. Ramy Lloyd L. Lotilla, OIC satellite college director, and Mrs. Estela F. Fano signed the MOA at the Office of the Satellite College Director.
Meanwhile, Prof. Lida L. Corcino, external affairs and linkages coordinator; Mr. Dave Mitchelle Lantoria, and Ms. Nerie Casabon from MENHS also signed the MOA as witnesses.
MENHS are fielding to CAPSU Mambusao five Senior High School (SHS) students under the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMMS) strand. They are Jellian Lus, April Joy Lusabia, Arlyn Lusanta, Shiny Molo, and Justin Onata.
With the passage of Republic Act No. 10533 or the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the Department of Education implemented the K to 12 program.
DepEd designed the implementation of RA 10533 within the framework of “increased community involvement in the learner’s experience.”
Work immersion is one of the course requirements for graduation. SHS students are required to undergo work immersion in “business organization or establishment with work requirements related to the specialization.”
Student interns start their work today until they complete the 80 hours requirement.
