CAPSU Mambusao undergoes year-end performance monitoring, evaluation

To uphold transparency, accountability, and academic excellence, Capiz State University (CAPSU) conducted its year-end monitoring and evaluation among its campuses and satellite colleges.
The monitoring and evaluation team led by Dr. Mary Ann B. Martelino, VP for external affairs and linkages, visited CAPSU Mambusao in the afternoon of February 6.
Through the participation of esteemed visitors and evaluators who assessed the college's performance and identified areas for improvement, the monitoring aims to propel CAPSU forward to ensure the institution's adherence to set targets and goals.
Also comprising the PME team were Dr. Eimee Potato, Mr. Christian Acevedo, Dr. Hermelisa A. Ochon, CAO-Admin; Ms. Lynette A. Figarola, CAO–Finance; Ms. Myleen C. Abelarde, SAO–HRMO; Mr. Mark Glenn F. Villamor, Planning Officer IV; and Mr. Leo Anthony C. Navarrosa, MIS Director.
Other evaluators included Dr. Lucille L. Marquez, GAD Director; Engr. NiƱa Obeja, Ms. Raen Ledesma, and Mr. Kevin Besana. Other members were Engr. Sabrina Vinson, Engr. Ezekiel Magbanua, and Ar. Jobil Jocson.
In his message, Dr. Ramy Lloyd Lotilla, office-in-charge, emphasized the significance of performance monitoring and evaluation in enhancing CAPSU's institutional effectiveness.
"Performance monitoring and evaluation assesses the performance of CAPSU Mambusao Satellite College and whether it was able to attain its targets and ensure transparency and accountability. It also commends the best practices and strengths of this College, and identifies the efficiencies and weaknesses," Dr. Lotilla said.
Echoing her sentiment, Dr. Mary Ann Martelino, VP EAL, underscored the importance of the evaluation process, describing it as a "powerful tool" that guides the institution toward success.
Dr. Martelino said, "Performance monitoring and evaluation is not just a routine but a powerful tool that helps us to be our best. It is like our guide, showing us where we may face challenges, keeping track of how we are doing, and letting us see the good results of our hard work."
During the program, Mr. Mark Glenn Villamor, planning officer, introduced the members of the performance monitoring and evaluation team, while Dr. Julie V. Dalida introduced the local counterparts involved in the process.
Through rigorous assessment and strategic planning, the University endeavors to maintain its position as a beacon of academic excellence and a provider of quality service to all.
