BSOA celebrates 10th OA Day

The Bachelor of Science in Office Administration faculty and students conducted their 10th Office Administration Day with the theme "BSOA Unites for Success: Sharpening Knowledge on Office Environment in Today's Fast-Paced World" at the campus gymnasium, April 2.
In her opening remarks during the opening program, Prof. Frocy M. Navarrosa, BSOA program coordinator, expressed her delight for having celebrated the 10th year of the curricular program amid the hot weather.
"Despite the heat, we are blessed especially the department because we are celebrating the 10th year. It’s been a decade!" she said.
Satellite College Director Dr. Adelfo Z. Virtudazo also delivered an inspirational message.
The one-day affair has lined up various activities like food expo, fashion show, and seminar.
BSOA 3 students showcased food products in relation to their Entrepreneurial Behavior and Competencies course.
To add entertainment to the activity, selected students from the different curricular years and sections showcased their talents in ramp modelling wearing different outfits like school uniform, office attire, denim attire, and Ka-Vogue outfit.
Standouts in each category were chosen by the faculty and non-academic personnel who served as judges.

In the afternoon, BS Office Administration students attended a seminar on office etiquette and managing mental stress at work.
The topic entitled "The Power of Work Ethics: The Key to Success" was taken up by Prof. Jumar Q. Apoyo, who served as the resource speaker.
His discussion included the following: Understanding Work Ethics, Benefits of Work Ethics in an Organization, Office Etiquettes 101, and Hanging Stress at Work.
