NEWS: CAPSU Mambusao faculty, student participate in batik making

Three faculty members and a student representative from CAPSU Mambusao Satellite College attended the Batik Trainors' Training at Pilar Satellite College, Aug. 22.
Among the attendees were Prof. Lida L. Corcino, external affairs and linkages oordinator; Dr. Rhodora L. Ticar, rextension chairperson; Prof. Freden S. Delgado, FLP and student publication adviser; and Kin F. Sabala, BAEL governor.
The training was also attended by other campuses of Capiz State University.
The workshop was made even more special by the presence of esteemed guests from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan in Indonesia.
Dr. Muhammad Sayuti, Dr. Ani Susanti, and Dr. Rifky Wijayati, renowned experts in the field of batik, shared their knowledge and expertise with the group.
The training was designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to become proficient batik trainers. It also covered a range of topics, including the history and cultural significance of batik, its technical aspects, and the art of creating intricate designs.
The presence of international experts added a unique cultural dimension to the training, allowing participants to learn about the rich traditions and heritage of batik in Indonesia.
