NEWS: CAPSU Mambusao participates in ‘Tree Growing for a Cause’

Some personnel of Capiz State University-Mambusao Satellite College joined in mangrove planting and coastal clean-up activity organized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC)-Capiz Field Office, September 19, in Sitio Guibongan, Brgy. Lonoy, Sapian, Capiz./div>
The “Tree Growing for a Cause” with the theme “Malasakit sa Kalikasan, Malasakit sa Lingkod Bayani” was an activity of the CSC in celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service anniversary./div>
This activity was in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). /div>
In the spirit of stewardship and harmonious collaboration, CSC invited government employees and private individuals to join them in this “noble cause of taking take of our planet and giving due recognition to our departed lingkod bayanis.”/div>
Last July 12, CAPSU Mambusao also conducted mangrove planting activity in the same location involving faculty and staff members, and students to promote a sense of responsibility and stewardship towards the environment.
