Keith Anthony S. Linan, a Bachelor of Arts in English Language alumnus and student publication editor-in-chief during the Academic Year 2022-2023, is employed at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) effective September 16.
BJMP Regional Office VI Recruitment posted on their Facebook page on September 13 the lists of JO1 applicants who passed "all the recruitment processes."
Linan graduated cum laude and class valedictorian in 2023 and was head of The Courier, the school's official student publication during his time.
After passing the rigorous selection process for applicants, Linan took his oath as Jail Officer 1 at the BJMP Regional Office on September 16 in Iloilo City.
Linan’s academic achievements and leadership experience have already established him as an accomplished individual. His success in the JO1 recruitment process is a continuation of his remarkable journey from the university to public service.
The oath-taking ceremony officially marked the beginning of Linan's career as a jail officer, as he and other successful applicants pledged to uphold the duties and responsibilities of their new roles.
