Students offer gifts to their professors.

Students took a moment to celebrate and recognize the invaluable contributions of their professors and the non-academic staff during the “Pagkilala: Teaching ang Non-teaching Personnel Appreciation Day,” Oct. 17.
Organized by the Supreme Student Council (SSC), in cooperation with the Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP), the activity aimed to give recognition to the “everyday heroes in education” for their significant contributions and for being such an integral part of Capiz State University-Mambusao Satellite College.
Students showcased their talents and provided entertainment to the delight of the audience especially the honorees.
All departments made video presentations to give tribute and express their love to their respective professors.
As a gesture of their gratitude and love, students offered gifts and tokens to each of the teaching and non-teaching personnel. Each one came up the stage to receive their gifts.
A feeling of awe washed over the crowd as the Kalingawan Performing Arts Group serenaded the faculty and staff, while other students approached their beloved professors on their seats to personally give their other gifts and tokens.
To add excitement to the affair, SSC officers conferred special awards based on the personality, responsibilities, habits, and behaviors of the faculty and staff members.
