CAPSU Mambusao students gathered at the campus gymnasium to celebrate the Christmas party themed "Diwa ng Pasko: A Christmas Celebration," despite busy schedules, Dec. 13.
Despite demanding schedules, including the ongoing clearance signing and enrolment, the festivities brought joy and holiday spirit to the attendees.
The program commenced with a solemn prayer and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and Capiz Hymn, played on air.
Dr. Ramy Lloyd L. Lotilla, satellite college director, warmly welcomed everyone with his opening remarks.
“We celebrate Christmas to share our love with our neighbors, family members, and friends,” Dr. Lotilla said.
He further added, "Our school is committed to observing this Christmas party because it embodies a time of sharing, love, and giving." The festivities kicked off with the engaging Manifesting game, where students answered Christmas-themed questions for a chance to win gifts, adding an interactive element to the celebration.
This lively segment was enthusiastically supervised by Ma. Joan Syvel A. Ludero, SSC vice president.
Following the game, FLP officers showcased their remarkable talents through an entertaining performance.
Next up was the highly anticipated Bingo Mania, overseen by Kin F. Sabala, BAEL governor.
Students eagerly participated, vying for prizes that included mugs, hangers, and noche buena packages.
A live jam session performed by the Huni Kalingawan Performing Arts Group rounded off the program, delivering a delightful auditory experience that resonated with the audience.
Despite the absence of many faculty and staff members due to an ISO audit, the strong commitment and enthusiasm of the SSC officers ensured that the celebration proceeded as planned.
This exemplified the invincible spirit of "diwa ng Pasko," proving that no matter how busy our schedules may be, the essence of the Christmas season remains vibrant and alive.
