A Bachelor of Arts in English Language (BAEL) alumna, KC Mae Olmo, has successfully passed the Philippine National Police Entrance Examination (PNPE), as officially announced through the Facebook page of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), Dec. 20.
Olmo, who served as BAEL Vice Governor during the Academic Year 2023–2024, earned the PNP Entrance Eligibility, a qualification conferred by NAPOLCOM to individuals aspiring to join the police service.
This eligibility is a requirement for appointment to the rank of Patrolman or Patrolwoman, in accordance with Section 30 of Republic Act No. 6975, as amended by Republic Act No. 8551.
The PNP Entrance Examination is one of the police examinations administered by NAPOLCOM twice a year. It is open to all Filipino citizens who meet the prescribed age, height, and educational requirements.
Successful examinees are granted eligibility that allows them to apply for entry into the Philippine National Police.
Olmo’s achievement marks another milestone for BAEL graduates, reflecting the diverse career paths its alumni pursue beyond the field of language and education.
Her success is also seen as an inspiration to students and fellow alumni who aspire to serve in uniform and contribute to public service through law enforcement.
