NEWS: CAPSU hosts welcome, testimonial sharing, and closing program for 11th Batch SEA-Teacher participants

Capiz State University (CAPSU), through its International and National Affairs Office, conducted "Celebrating Journeys: Welcome, Testimonial Sharing, and Closing Program" for the 11th Batch of SEA-Teacher Student Exchange Project at CAPSU Roxas Main Campus Auditorium, February 5.
The activity simultaneously welcomed the second group of SEA-Teacher participants and marked the testimonial sharing and closing of the first group underscoring CAPSU’s continuing commitment to international academic collaboration in Southeast Asia.
The program opened with the arrival of guests and a processional involving CAPSU officials, Department of Education representatives, and SEA-Teacher participants.
During the program, Dr. Salvacion J. Legaspi, Vice President for External Affairs and Linkages, delivered the opening remarks. She emphasized the role of international exchange programs in developing globally competent educators.
CAPSU President Dr. Efren L. Linan welcomed the participants and reaffirmed CAPSU’s support for cross-border academic and cultural partnerships.
A highlight of the program was the testimonial sharing of the SEA-Teacher participants, who recounted their teaching experiences, cultural immersion, and professional development during their exchange. Participants represented partner universities from Indonesia and Thailand.
The awarding of certificates recognized the successful completion of the exchange program, followed by a cultural presentation rendered by the 11th Batch SEA-Teacher participants.
Messages of support were delivered by the representative of Schools Division Superintendent of Capiz, and Schools Division Superintendent of Roxas City, both commending CAPSU’s role in strengthening international cooperation in teacher education.
The program concluded with the closing remarks of Prof. Malou B. Albor, Director of International and National Affairs, and formally ended with the CAPSU March.
The SEA-Teacher Student Exchange Project continues to serve as a platform for cultural understanding, academic exchange, and professional growth among future educators in the Southeast Asian region.
