The SynerG3 Thunders, composed of the Bachelor of Arts in English Language (BAEL), Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA), and Bachelor of Science in Food Technology (BSFT), emerged as the leading team in the Culture and the Arts Festival during this year’s Intramural Meet. The Thunders collected 144 points, surpassing the Tech Titans, who finished with 103 points.
The Thunders displayed their talents and skills in various competitions, including dance, literary arts, dramatic arts, visual arts, vocal performances, and instrumental events. Their strong showing in different categories contributed significantly to their overall score and helped them maintain their lead throughout the competition.
In the dance category, the Thunders showcased their creativity, coordination, and stage presence. They secured victories in contemporary dance, contemporary duo, lip synchonization, and folk dance. Their performances demonstrated their ability to combine movement, expression, and teamwork on stage.
The Tech Titans claimed the win in street dance, marking their victory in the category.
The Thunders also delivered impressive performances in the literary arts, where participants demonstrated their speaking, storytelling, and writing abilities. They won in extemporaneous speaking, dagliang talumpati, storytelling, pagkukwento, oral interpretation of poetry, declamation, deklamasyon, persuasive oratory, and essay writing.
Meanwhile, the Tech Titans secured victories in oratoryo and pagsulat ng sanaysay.
The results reflected the Thunders’ strength in both English and Filipino literary events, as participants presented ideas with confidence, creativity, and effective communication.
In the dramatic arts category, the Thunders displayed their acting skills through different performances. They secured wins in dramatic monologue, sweet play (musical), duo acting, and dalawahang pag-arte. These events allowed the participants to showcase their emotions, expressions, dialogue delivery, and ability to portray different characters.
The Tech Titans also earned victories in radio drama and sweet play (dialogue), demonstrating their own strength in dramatic performances.
The competition also highlighted the artistic abilities of both teams in the visual arts. The Tech Titans dominated pencil drawing, poster making, and painting, while the Thunders secured victories in charcoal rendering and photography.
Through these events, participants expressed their creativity through different forms of visual art, with each team showcasing its own artistic skills and styles.
The Thunders further strengthened their lead through their performances in vocal and instrumental events. They won in vocal solo (pop), vocal solo (classical), vocal duet, instrumental guitar, instrumental piano, and instrumental violin. Their performances highlighted their musical abilities and added valuable points to their overall standing.
With victories across multiple categories, the SynerG3 Thunders finished with 144 points, maintaining a 41-point lead over the Tech Titans.
Their strong performances across dance, literary arts, dramatic arts, visual arts, and music reflected the participants’ talent, preparation, teamwork, and dedication. The achievement also allowed the Thunders to retain their championship title from last year, marking another successful campaign in this year’s Intramural Meet.
